The Poor Performance Toolkit is built on years of experience working with managers.

We know that dealing with poor performance is so much more than ‘having a conversation’. 

Indeed, badly handled conversations can make things worse.  This Toolkit provides reassurance for leaders that:

  • effective poor performance processes are being deployed
  • managers have the confidence and skills needed to successfully manage poor performance
  • a better experience is had for everyone impacted by poor performance

By the end of this training session, managers will have:

  • a practical toolkit they can use immediately to address poor performance in their team
  • confidence in preparing for, and holding conversations addressing poor performance
  • practised using the toolkit on typical case study examples
  • explored how to deal with anxieties they may have about the risk of making things worse rather than better.
